Editted to give it a title. 'Fearless Girl leading the Bull'. Ink and wash - using a Parallel Pen loaded with Pilot blue black and then a water brush (the kind with the water in the hande)

Test writing an old Sailor pen (probably 1960's or 70's vintage).

Which also has the thinnest EF nib I've ever used.

The October theme is "Harvest." I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I've recently come across this thread & I see there is no new theme for December. Thought I'd post a random sketch with the hopes of joining you lovely folks for the Jan theme...

Thanks Sadiq! Nice sketch, and that suggests a number of options. Decorative things?

Thank you Marsilius. My sketches have a long way to come, but I’m hoping to get as good as all you regular contributors to this thread.

Hopefully we still get a few more “December...D...Decorative” sketches before New Years.

Well I just got some ink, so will try to give it a spin. Stayed tuned and hopefully my promises are better than dust!

Hopefully the way people arrange their gardens also falls under ‘decorative’

My next sketch is a landscaped garden. I used a A5 notebook again, so things got a little mono toned...I tried a water brush to get some other shades. Think it’s time I get an A4 sketchpad...

Good use of the washes. It's simple but adds to the sketch.
