The Negoro process exemplifies the Japanese concept of "Wabi-Sabi," in which the aesthetic value of objects is considered to increase with use and wear. The carefully placed "cracks" engraved onto the barrel, cap, and even gripping section of this pen take this idea to a logical extreme.

It's relatively affordable, runs $950, unfortunately Nibs.com is the only distributed in the US so there is no wiggle room on the prices.

It does look very good, tempting if I could justify the cost (and would be competing with a decapod twist).
