Default Looking: Pen Case carries A5 notebook

I keep looking for a Pen Case that would also carry my A5 Rhodia notebook (the 180 page book). If you put the pens the long way, you could get 8 pens or so by my reckoning. But even four would be nice. I find it annoying that I have to have a bigger bag to hold my pen case, my notebook and my phone-- when I could just have one small carrier that could carry it all compact.

Because I need my phone for the photo I put a pen case to show where it could go (the iPhone 6 fits perfect) and still have room for five pens.

From a design point of view there are a couple of challenges that may have prevented someone from making such a case.

The first one is the use of the notebook when in the case one side would open on to the pens and phone making writing difficult.
With the phone inside the case you would have to open the case to access it.

If I was designing such a case I would consider mounting the front cover into the case so the notebook opened outside of the case.
I would also suggest some sort of slot to allow access to the phone without opening the case.

Here is one I made for myself

See something like that is what I am looking for. Unfortunately I don't have those skill sets.

Sorry I was not suggesting that you should make you own I was trying to say that there are custom options available.
There are many people in the UK including myself who make custom cases. I am happy to help you work out what you need to commission your ideal case.
