A while back, someone posted a photo illustrating how to use a car sponge to make an ink holder for cleaning such that they would not spill. It is my hope that that person (or someone who remembers seeing the post and can let that person know) will see this.

I am a science teacher and my first day of class is the day of the eclipse. I am in charge of activities for 3 year olds all the way up to 8th graders, so a wide variety of activities were required. One that I needed was something to help the older kids see what was happening and why we would only see a partial eclipse while others see a total. In comes a bunch of demos and the sponge:
