    Default tk-matic vs. alpha-matic

    Hi! I'm new to this forum and I have a question. What is the difference betw. alpha-matic und a TK-matic, I couldn't find much reference to this old pencils, describing their history.

    Don't own these items but one difference seems to be the lead sleeve. Alpha-matic has conical, perhaps more aimed for writing, and TK-matic has a bit longer and cylindrical lead sleeve, better for drafting work.

    Hi MPGeek! Are they both from the same period of time? Both the same build quality? And how about the market value?
