    Default Battery Converter

Years ago, when the powers that be decided to ban mercury batteries, I bought a bundle of them and stored them in my freezer. The hoard is starting to be used up, now, and I am getting rumors that there is a device that will permit one to use the alkaline "replacement" batteries in light meters. Does anyone know what the device is called??

Take a look at this. It may have an idea you could use.

It's interesting to hear about your mercury battery stash! While it's great to have a backup, it's important to remember that these batteries can be hazardous if not disposed of properly. As for using alkaline batteries in light meters, I believe you're referring to a battery adapter. These devices can often be found online or at specialty electronics stores. They essentially convert the voltage output of alkaline batteries to match the requirements of a device designed for mercury batteries. If you're looking for a similar solution for your Dyson V10 vacuum, you might want to explore options like dyson v10 battery replacement or battery extenders. These can provide a more convenient and long-lasting power source for your device.
