Default A Vintage Pilot Custom Grandee

Just thought I'd like to share about this vintage Pilot Custom is named "Grandee" (at least that's what it say on the cap band).

I find the slit on the pocket clip mesmerizing, and the big Pilot F 14K nib is so nice to write (and sketch) with.
Also the cap snap 'click' on this pen is very satisfying.

That's a cool-looking pen. It looks like the child of a Sheaffer Triumph and a Pilot Falcon.

Now my Custom 74 is great. I have tuned it a little and it was a quick trick I did on my finger nail and it writes like magic now.

That's a great pen. I'm subject to the sin of envy.

I don't recall looking at the date code. I don't have the pen anymore, one of my customers snatch it quickly.
