(I could write that pretty much any day of the year…)
I have been using fountain pens since I was in primary school (that was how it was in those days) but later became very dissatisfied with the way we had been taught to write. So in my teens I started working from 1950’s books on the italic handwriting I loved. Fast forward a bit from there and everything became electronic with writing hardly seeming to matter.
Recently I realized that my old pens had disappeared (though I did find a Lamy 1.1mm), but I also found that there is a thriving scene for those who like writing and writing instruments too.
On to pens: to accompany the old Lamy (which now has a big brother) I have bought a couple of Parker (Duofold, 75) and Pilot (VP, 78G) pens and will soon move on to another letter of the alphabet…
Nice to know you all!
Joseph
