Have you noticed putting on the cap feels just like the images of docking a space ship using tractor beams appear? Even the last few millimeters where it centers and locks in place.

It’s so crazy. This thing is made to impossible tolerances!! That docking is so addictive. It’s all I can do to not just sit and play with it. I feel like a baby fascinated by moms keychain. Are there even better made pens out there? Obviously this is subjective, but it isn’t. I’ve shown it to friends with zero appreciation for fountain pens. Even they are shocked by the build quality and that click.
“Here, just put the cap on”.
    “Why?”
“You’ll see, just put the cap on.”
    ... and they do.
    “OMG what is that thing?”

Woah, that's a brilliant idea. There's so many pens where I'd like to try out the nib, but I can't go to a pen show and the stationer's stores don't have great inventory. I have definitely seen shared like the Esterbrook and TWSBI version of FPN. I totally understand not wanting to loan out a more expensive type. But a cheap USB rental service? That would be amazing if there was some sort of convenient way to insure it in order to make the renter liable for damage. It'd be like Netflix for pens (the old CD service, not that newfangled streaming technology
