Sheaffer OS Balance Cap Band Replacement.

I have an opportunity to pick up a Sheaffer OS Balance. Everything looks good, but it is missing the cap band. How hard is it to replace a cap band on one of these? Is it something I could do myself or would it need to be professionally restored? Are the cap bands easy to source? What is an approximate cost range for this?
