I've used fountain pens for quite a while for writing. I'm moving from writing letters and taking notes with them, backwards, historically, to writing drafts with them. I'm dealing with carpal tunnel and having less than ideal access to the 'net, so I'm doing large amounts of writing off line. Fountain pens are easier on my hands.
I'm particularly interested in inexpensive ruled paper I can use for rough drafts with a fountain pen (Namiki Retractable F, or Lamy M); one-side only of the paper, or ink reccs for such paper.
I'm technically a card-carrying Medievalist, specializing in Medieval Celtic and English languages and literatures, but I generally write about Apple technology. I'm the sys admin for a large writers' community.
I've just started exploring inks; I'm trying samples and hoping to narrow down my list to buy a few bottles of ink to use.
This looks like a super community; thanks for having me.
