Pelikan M600 pink

I need this pen!

Words that I hear ringing in my ears more and more as I browse sales section of this forum.

But for real now, my better half is about to finish her PhD soon, and this is the appointed gift for her. So anyone wants to part with their pink-white Pelikan, under promise it will receive a good and loving home? For a price of course.

Or, if anyone has any info about the whereabouts of this beauty, please share!

Actually, they are $1600. They are all for sale by the same seller in Singapore and some time ago, when I sent him an ASQ about the pen, he told me he was saving it as a gift for when he met the lady who he would marry. He hasn't met her yet, but hopes to do so one day. Meanwhile, for $1600, it looks like he's prepared to part with at least one of them.

I must be out of the loop. Why is an M600 going for 1600 dollars? Is it a special edition or something?

Yes, limited edition (perhaps because the market isn't exactly going to be huge, especially at the price):

It was a special edition, but it's still basically a $300 - $350 pen. The guy in Singapore doesn't really want to sell it. However, if someone is prepared to pay $1600, then I suppose that's the price he's prepared to let one go for.

There are a few on ebay all over the world. This one in spain is the cheapest, quite a saving!

It's still more than I would consider paying for one, but I suppose it all depends on how much you want one plus how much you're prepared to spend.

I saw that, but I think it is a little too much for this pen. There was one on FPN for 500$ from Slovenia, but the seller isn't responding to my enquiry so I guess it is sold.

I agree with Chrissy that the seller on ebay doesn't really want to sell it. I would be prepared to pay for it more because it is a 2015 limited edition, but no more that 800$.OK, maybe a few dollars more because it is really good looking. That much it's worth to me at least.

Have you thought of getting her the Platinum 3776 Lilias instead? It's a very pretty pen with a great nib. I love mine.

I do like #3776. I am thinking of buying it for some time now, and pink one is very feminine. Unfortunatelly, although pink is her favorite color, she thinks it is too pink for her. I have done some research, and M600 pink is the pen to buy.

But I appreciate the suggestion!

Originally, my pen of choice was white tortoise, which she finds ugly, and beating around the bush got me to M600 pink. It seems that Pelikan is her favorite too.

Luckily, the seller from FPN has responded, and it seems that the pen is not yet sold,
so problem solved! Big thanks to everyone!
