Once in a while, a picture formed in my mind before I photograph it. When I get the bottle of Smoky Quartz 2017 Edition of the Edelstein ink at the Pelikan Hub meet, I knew that I will have to do a picture of it with my Pelikan 500 Tortoise.



So here we are, finally, a pair of birds, one born in 1950's and the other in 2017. Birds of a feather they are, no only carrying the same name, but their color matches too. Perfectly.

Sometimes, things just go together, you know what I mean?
