Default TWSBI Vac mini drying out after one paragraph of writing

I am having the problem as described in the subject. The knob behind the pen is already unscrewed. Usually what happens after the nib dries out is I have to fiddle around with the plunger knob (pulling it out slightly and moving it around) then ink will start flowing again for a little while and it happens again. This is a new pen. Any ideas ?

Have you flushed the pen yet? Those manufacturing oils are garbage for flow... Just take out the nib and feed and use like a soft toothbrush and some water and dish soap to get the gunk out. It fixed a lot of flow problems for me everytime I get a new pen.

I second that. I had the same problem with my Vac Mini until I cleaned it out.

I had this problem and was not able to solve it with flushing, although I didn't try the toothbrush trick.

Mine worked great after flushing. Same with the Vac700. I'd take the nib assembly completely appart and clean all parts in dish-soapy water, then rinse with clear water and dry carefully. A soft toothbrush is a good tool.
