    Default WTB Waterman Carene

    Dear Friends,

i would like to buy a nice Waterman Carene in very good condition, without any flaws. I am picky regarding the nib smoothness, so nib has to be smooth.

Preferably searching for the models on photos, but let me know what you have available.

    Budget $120 USD.

If any of those particular Waterman Carenes was flawless and on sale for US$120, I think there would be a queue of Waterman pen users waiting in line to buy one.

I think only the Carene black brand new with M nib might sometimes crop up on Amazon for say US$150 or so, on some special days.

I'd have to agree with Chrissy, it's a bit of an ask. But don't ask don't get I suppose.

Dear pen freinds, thank you for your comments, just for the record i have bought a Carene in blue in pristine condition for $120 this week. i have owned 2 Carenes previously, they have been sold here before, sold them for $120 or $115 and i would not say they sold in a blink, i have not seen a queue either. In the end of the day, the real price of the pen is the price which is paid and not which is asked.

I have three Carenes, including the blue one. I think $120 is about all the lacquer with lacquer cap is worth. The gold filled cap, probably more. The Amber Marine was what gaffed me.
