I wake up with a smile, do whatever I want to, then go to bed with a smile. I'm retired and it's not a job, it's an adventure.

In the UK, we're supposed to call them 'Enforcement Officers' now...

The principle of the reductionist's work, according to which complex phenomena can be fully explained with the help of laws peculiar to more superficial phenomena. It seems that the example of the sheriff's profession is the most accurate example of all possible. You said everything correctly, and I don't even have anything to add. The only problem is that such a job is unsuitable for those who cannot work all day. People work at several jobs simultaneously, and everyone is looking for weekend jobs where they will be able to work in their free time and receive a salary.

I'm retired now -- twice actually -- but my original career's reductionist job description was, 'telling people where to go and how to get there - and getting paid for it'. See if you can 'sus' out what I did to earn my daily crust. I'll PM whoever gets it or comes closest.

When I was young and rough, my best mate's dad would come round to the bar looking for hands to help catch wild horses, buy a round, and ask:

"Anybody wanna get kicked, stomped on, or killed?"

    Couldn't resist. (Nobody got killed.)

An interesting discussion, I especially liked the way you talk about your work with love. I would also like to find a job that will be to my soul. I have excellent professional skills in the field of psychology and thanks to https://uk.careersbooster.com/cv-help/ an excellent resume. But alas, I have not yet found any vacancies that would satisfy my requirements for work. I still have everything ahead of me.
