I've been enjoying using some of the Krishna inks, made in India. This is one of my favourites, so I thought I'd put up a quick review as these inks deserve wider attention.

Wow, that is a good contender against the popular R&K AGG.
How about availability and price? I can't seem to find a carrier here in the US.

As I mentioned in the review I don't think these inks are widely available outside India. They have only recently become available in the UK. I don't think there is a US stockist yet. I know a few have bought them direct from India https://www.thepenworld.com/category/938087
There is a thread on the other FP site that provides the background and more information.
The price here is quite reasonable, around £5 for a small bottle. I bought 11 colours - I'll try to put photos of swabs up tomorrow.
As a lover of Green, this one is very appealing! And very nice review, thank you.

I like your review and hope you do more.

a nice green, but I have R&K already and will not get through it quickly. I don't stock multiple inks in similar colors. Thanks for the review. Never heard of it.
Your review is very attractive and informative, and I hope you will do more of them. It shouldn't be too long before we can get these inks in the US.
Thank you. I'm not really sure about doing ink reviews; it's all so subjective isn't it. And of course the viewer is at the whim of computer colour renditions & a raft of other vagaries. However, I have another Krishna ink that I know you in particular will love, so I'll do a review of it tomorrow

You're very wise not to stock multiple similar inks. I'm not quite as sensible as you & consequently have far too many inks. But my excuse is that it's my only real indulgence; I just love colour. And I often pass on samples or bottles to others so they can share the pleasure.

Thanks. It's difficult to know what people find most useful, and to cover that without rambling on. I didn't include the faux scientific stuff, like water resistance (as it's not a significant consideration for me) or chroma tests (which are pretty meaningless really). I'm really only good for a quick written review & a swipe with a cotton bud
Good news that you'll be able to get them in the US soon. Let's hope the Doctor will be able to keep up with demand
A nice review thank you
I found the comparisons particularly helpful. One thing I would like to know is how it cleaned out - any residue, staining or stubborn resistance to flushing?
Please do keep reviewing

Thank you.
I mentioned in the review that Ghat Green cleans out easily, in the pens I've used it with. And I haven't noticed any staining. I've used it in a TWSBI Eco, a Platinum 3776 Yamanaka, an eye-droppered Kaweco Ice Sport and a Pilot Falcon. It also rinsed easily from my Serendipity hybrid dip pen.

This looks quite nice, thanks for the review!

from this review, I would say it is quite close to Kobe 19
A couple of swatches on Bristol Smooth White 300gsm (which is OK for comparative purposes but which admittedly shows colours differently to the paper used in the review). Ghat Green is more yellow; Kobe #19 is as its name suggests - a zingy lime
