    Default Pilot Elabo -First Impression

Here is a quick impression of my new Pilot Elabo with a SEF job and resin body. I've included a few photos. The other pens for size comparison are an Italix Parsons and a TWSBI 580.

I took the photos early with just my desk lamp for lighting.

Midori paper does better line variation, but has more tactile feedback.

The Falcon is a fun pen, congrats! Reminds me that my has been un-inked for a while and I should put it in the next round of my rotation.

Lovely review, and how come I can't write and nicely as you do? You have caught the spirit of that flex-ish nib.

Thank you for your kind words. Practice and writing slowly is the only way I can hold my cursive together.

Thank you. I do enjoy a bit of flex now and then. I really like the fine lines this nib writes.

Well done. Every time I write with my one flex nib it looks like a psychotic on Meth.

It really is a fun nib to use and experiment with. I had an old burgundy resin Falcon which I loved. I received an offer that was too good to say no to and sold it. I just haven't gotten around to replacing it YET!

Enjoy your pen and keep up the writing - practicing and otherwise. There is something about sitting down and handwriting stuff that is irreplaceable - imho.

I really like this and the special nib. However, I only tried our the Metropolitan and not any really expensive pen yet. Do you think this is going to be a good buy for me?
