    Default Sailor Front Lines

OK. Thanks to a member here, I was made aware of a recent Sailor Cocktail series release. I would have missed out on the pen otherwise.

I'm becoming a real Sailor fan and don't want to rely on chance to discover and purchase the new releases.

Where are the Sailor New Pen announcements to be found as they appear? Any sources would be appreciated!

I don't know about anyone who follows Sailor in this forum, but I do know that Algester over at FPN seems to report on new Sailor pens and inks when they appear. Maybe we can get Algester to post here, too.

Sailor, like Platinum and Pilot, publishes its own magazine, newsletter and social media articles, including information about planned new releases. They are, obviously, not usually written in English as they are aimed at their main market. Sometimes they will mention "store specials", but not always.

There is also the wonderful specialist Japanese Stationery magazine Shumi no bungu bako (Stationery Hobby Box). It's published 3 times a year and is a fantastic, high quality magazine, featuring many brands of fountain pens. It usually carries information on forthcoming pen releases.

It is also worth following some of the large online Japanese stationery stores on social media,; stores like Pen House Global. Here's their link on Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/PenhouseGlobal

Apart from these, and a few online Japanese-only forums, I don't know of any one single place where information can be found.
