    Default Pen Shows Calendar

Who maintains the Pen Show Calendar now, if anyone? There are hardly any upcoming entries (e.g., no Baltimore or Long Island or Raleigh), so I presume no one. Susan used to actively press promoters for confirmation. Is there a comprehensive alternative?

I'm toying with the idea to build a Pen Show Calendar. Still thinking what's the format that is flexible and easy to read.

Fred, do you know (as in being able to reach them if needed) any other Pen Show organizers other than Ohio?
I know Pete knows a bunch.

I would assume John M. would have taken over maintenance but he may be overwhelmed with other issues. Frankly, I've seen a couple other calendars that seemed current in info but for the life of me cant remember where. I'll post back when/if I find one of those.

EDIT: So far, the most current one appears to be a Pen Show Calendar hosted by Indy-Pen-Dance.

Also, I've just notieced that the PCA is transitioning to a new web site. Maybe when that happens they will update their calendar for 2018.

Yes the PCA will be building a Pen Show Calendar. I understand John Martinson is also going to update the Susan Wirth calendar.

If you have show information and confirmed dates please send it along or possibly post it here.

    Great to hear.

I clicked on my bookmark for Susan's calendar today, and it's gone. Not much one can say about the PCA; looks like their calendar was last updated in 2016 for the following year.

As of the date of this post, the Kennedy's calendar looks like it's the best going for North America. I'll start a thread for Pen Shows Calendar, and we'll just have to keep bumping it.

The Chicago Pen Show is May 3-6, 2018. It's always the first weekend in May.

    Thank you Laura.

Do you have directions to this place called "Chicago"?

Yes, if you're approaching Route 66 from the north.

"Pardon me, can you give me a lift to the Chicago Pen Show? It's a long walk on these heels"

(I think Hollywood fudged that sign.)
