Up for sale is a rare Montblanc 149 fountain pen fitted with the original 14C Gold Oblique Double/Triple Broad (OBB-OBBB) nib.

-Era: 1960-1972 (first generation resin pen)
-Nib was professionally adjusted by Spanish nibmeister Pablo Carrasco earlier this year.



Features:
- A wonderful tri-color 14 C OBB-OBBB (left-footed oblique) nib that offers wet and smooth writing experience. As you can see in the photos and video, this nib is capable of laying down a huge amount of ink and has very generous ink flow.
- Earlier this year I sent the pen to Spanish nibmeister Pablo Carrasco who adjusted its nib so now the pen provides excellent writing experience.
- Ebonite feed, keeps up very well with the nib.
- Striped ink window without ink residue.
- Piston filling mechanism works flawlessly, fills the pen with ease to its maximum ink capacity.
- Rings show no loss of gold plating.
- No cracks, no dents, please check the HQ photos.
- Flaws: some microscratches, otherwise in almost mint condition.
