Christmas Pens? what did you get???

I got a blue ( Charteres?) 3776 with a bold nib and filled it with Herbin Saphir that matches it nicely. Also got some Blackwing pencils to write with.

What writers did you get this holdiay?

Omas Old Style Paragon 75th Anniversary! It was my grail pen from high school, and just before I'm graduating from college I've pulled the trigger.

I didn't get pens, but I did get inks (Sweet Potato Purple, Callifolio Violet, Organics Studio Nitrogen, and and a Hobonichi Weeks wallet from Galen Leather.

A TWSBI 580 Rose and Super5 Australia to go in it. The pen is a really pretty colour, much less pink than I was imagining, more a dusky red. I like it a lot.

Plus a gift voucher for the pen store in the city - enough to choose any ink - perhaps one Iroshizuku or two of some other brand. I'm looking forward to the visit to Perth to choose so the anticipation is making Christmas last a little longer.

And I treated myself to some fantastic blanks from The Turners Workshop for pen making.

Today I received 3 Lamy Al-Star LXs that I had purchased for myself. I didn’t expect the package to be delivered on Christmas Day! I kind of feel bad some poor package delivery person was out on Christmas Day working. I did get a $50 gift certificate for a Goulet Pen Co for Christmas. I’m thinking I’ll put it towards the rose colored TWSBI 580.

No pens, but I did get a Col-o-ring ink testing book (will be fun and useful) and a Caran D'Ache 844 mechanical pencil (classic design, and I like it very much).

No gifts this year, but my Gama flat top demonstrator arrived this morning so it counts as a Christmas pen. Surprised and happy with the fine "Gama" nib, and it doesn't seem to be too persnickety as an eyedropper.

Hello, My name is Jason Bradley and I’ve been search for a pen cap for almost 7 months. I own a Mont Blanc LeGrande Platinum 7571. This was a gift my grandfather gave when I was promoted back in 2014. He has since passed away and this pen is one of my most treasured things. 7 months go some stole the cap off of my desk and I have yet to be able to replace it. I have scoured ebay and amazon, I have even been ripped off by a few “Chinese knock-off companies whose products never arrive). I don’t mind paying for the cap, but Mont blanc wants me to give them my pen to send out so that it can return “repaired” with a new cap and I am just not comfortable sending my pen out.

I was directed to your site by a friend who is a jeweler in Boston. I have been trying to figure out how to post in one of your classifieds/forums but I do not believe I am allowed. Is there any way you could post something for me asking your community if someone out there would have that part to sell? LAMY "aion" in black with an EF nib. So smooth and on the wet side of ink flow; also a real EF, finer than a Pilot F. Filled it with De Atramentis Document ink (10 pts "brown" + 1 pt "black" = a nice waterproof sepia). I love the way this pen feels in the hand - slightly rough, substantial, and, yes, minimalist...
