I'm excited to see what they do!
...that said, they released the Pilot Urushi in December -- I'd've thought if they're releasing new pens for the anniversary, they'd wait a month to launch the Urushi... maybe they wanted something for the xmas season and have bigger plans for the Pilot 100 and/or 100X?
My real goal-pen for 2018 is to make a pen that's quality enough I use it in regular rotation.

Omas Ogiva Alba in green/teal and Omas Ogiva Cocktail Bloody Mary just in case anyone has a spare lying around....
Not as rare as the white whale, but sightings of ones for sale probably are, so hoping for one anytime, any year!

My goal is to buy less pens, but nicer pens. Last year I really slowed down, this year I want to limit it to only those that are "punch you in the gut, gotta have" pens.
I plan to have a monthly pen allowance, that I will save up and then go pen hunting...

No. No goal pen. No Grail pen. Actually haven't bought a pen for months. Haven't found a pen that really grabs me by the throat and screams " buy me! " in the last year.

Good for youn it probably will be overwhelming until you get the feel of a pen show. I dread going to The Chicago Pen Show; too many grail pens. If they weren’t in my list before the show, they move up to that status during the show.

My goal is to attend the Atlanta pen show and pick up a used but clean MB 149. As a noob, I feel like it's a benchmark that I need to experience. Otherwise, How can I grok all the MB hater threads?

My goal was to buy less pens then last year, but so far I have in the last few days bought a Platinum 3776 with Music nib, Aurora Optima from nibsmith.com with a CI grind on a B nib, and a Pilot Falcon and I still want to swap my Lamy 2000 F for a B.
