Hello everyone -
I am not a true collector of fountain pens (I have less than 10) but I really enjoy writing with the ones I have. My current favorite is the Montegrappa Parola. Another is a Mont Blanc that I received several years ago as a gift but the nib is too broad for my taste; I am thinking of bringing it to The Fountain Pen Hospital (what a great place for pen lovers!) to ask if they could change it to a fine nib.
Recently, someone gave me a Twsby fountain pen and what amazes me is that the ink flows right away even it hasn't been used in some time.

Hi Renato:

- As Wahl says, ten fountain pens is just right!

- FPH is a great store. If they do not switch MB nibs, try a MonBlanc Boutique. There are two in Manhattan -- one at the new World Trade Center and another at 600 Madison.

- Please join us at the Big Apple Pen Club, this Thursday evening, at Bard Hall, 410 W. 58th, one long block from Columbus Circle.

Hello and welcome. I'm not really a collector (same for stamps), but I do use fountain pens for writing letters to my penfriends and correspondents around the world!

Margaine - Stamps! Yes, me too - not a serious collector but it is fun. Maybe the love of pen and stamps are related...
