WTB: Unusual M800 Nibs - 20c or Tiffany
I am now happy with my collection of Pelikan M800 pens, but I would like a greater variety of nibs.
I am looking for:
- 14c - 585
- 20c - 833
- M818 nib from Tiffany Atlas
- monotone gold nib (no rhodium plating)
- unusual grinds
- non-Pelikan nibs set in a M800 nib collar
Shipping will be to Guernsey (UK).

Thank you SIR! I managed to find a 14c OB which is quite fun. A little bit of line variation, a little bit of spring, and a whole lotta ink on the page

Re: WTB: Unusual M800 Nibs - 20c or Tiffany
Martiniauctions has a modern (1 chick) OB two toned nib. I bought the modern OM they had. That is, by a significant margin, my favorite nib. What is interesting is, that these seem to be very rare. I have seen modern OM twice and modern OB just once. Do you know if modern OM rhodinated exists? I can’t find this info anywhere.
Anyhow, best of luck in your search!

Re: WTB: Unusual M800 Nibs - 20c or Tiffany
Thanks for the tip! I've seen a few OMs on the classified boards here and at the other place, but they do seem to command quite a premium. Reports on line variation are mixed, but the consensus seems to be very little.
I don't know if a modern OM rhodinated exists, but I think the fully rhodinated nib for M805 came out at the same time as the anthracite (Stresseman) model. I'm not sure when Pelikan stopped producing its more exotic nibs, but I have never seen an OM rhodinated in the wild.
What would be very interesting to me a M800 nib with no rhodium at all - a single tone gold nib. I know one was manufactured for one of the limited editions (too lazy to look up which one) and I have spoken to a few jewellers who are willing to remove the rhodium plating from a two-tone nib, but at my own risk. I'm not ready to take the plunge yet.
