WTT: Cherry Ice F-C 45 w/ F or M S.I.G. Nib

I have the aforementioned pen up for trade, due to the fact that it just doesn’t get the proper use it deserves. I previously traded for it, with user mcmk on this very forum a while back, to fill a void in my collection of pocket sized pens. Sadly, it never made my rotation often, despite my pleasant experiences while owning it. It is now stored safely in an empty cigar case.

The pen works great, and has been primarily used as in eye dropper mode with no issues with burps or leaks the (nearly less than) hand full if times I’d used it. That said, it does sport some “clouding” in the cap, due to use. Again, the pen isn’t pristine, but just wanted to be fully transparent on the cosmetic condition. I’ll post pics to further highlight condition. The corresponding nibs are the fruits of (the awesome) Jim Rouse’s creative mind. So, those familiar with his work know they’re great to use, and have no issues laying down ink without hesitation.

As far as what I’m interested in, one of the following is preferred:
- Parker Vacumatic
- Sailor 1911
- Pelikan M200 or 400 (modern or vintage)
- Edison Nouveau Premiere
- another F-C pocket pen or alt color model 40/45

Please feel free to submit other offers, as I’m willing to bargain.

Suggestion; Get a black FC 45 and switch the caps. It looks amazing and the little cap wear does not show up on the black body and looks very nice and the black cap on the cherry looks much better than. The original cap. I did it on mine and much prefer it.

@nibsforscript, I appreciate your suggestion. That’s an idea which I hadn’t considered and I’m sure the contrast in colors would look very nice. This particular pen is the second 45 which I own, the first is the antique glass (coke bottle) version. I figured I’d offer it up for trade, because I seldom use it. However, I may remove it from the board in a month or so if no real offers materialize. Again, I appreciate your idea, and now I’m wishing I hadn’t traded/sold my black model 45 a while back. Lol. If you ever want to part with the Antique glass version I would be interested. I have 4 of these and keep one in my pocket at all times. That way I can change pens with my mood! LOL. All the best, hope you find a home for the cherry or find a black one to enhance it.
