No, I think that's supposed to be you waiting for the postman.

If the international participants want I can provide the tracking number from the customs form, trackable via usps.com website...so long as your local postal service provides updates and feedback once it gets to them.

Maybe it was, but I don't look like that either.

I'm happy to wait inside where it's warm.

I've been waiting patiently for someone to post something about Mystery Ink #14, but so far no-one has.

So thanks to Scooby's and Fred's generosity (thank you both. ) I received my sample in the mail, filled a Pelikan Go! piston filler pen, and wrote with it. I really like this ink.

Oh and it's a saturated ink! For some reason I never mentioned this.

Thank you Chrissy. I was just about to update the thread. You let me know your sample has arrived. Tracking shows the other two international packages being in-country and transferring from the major international airport from which they had arrived. Sammyo, sems, keep your eyes open . FredRydr and Sailor Kenshin's samples were dropped at the post office this afternoon. They aren't too far from me, so I expect they are delivered within the next 2-3 days. I have also convinced my wife to review the ink as it's something she's scratched a few words with in one of my pens, but never actually inked up and used to any extent.

You're very welcome. It's unusual for me to receive something earlier than others. I remember a previous MI when I was almost the last once.
I did a chroma test of this that's now dried and is sitting upstairs. Not sure why I didn't take a picture and include it on here Doh!

Well, looks like I can't be lazy... now to find an appropriate pen for the ink... here's hoping that it's clean!

Very sadly my Pelikan Go! sprung a leak, and this ink is difficult to remove from fingers as I have found out.

Scooby's little parcel arrived. Now to fill something. I think it'll be a Pelikan M400 stub. Stand by....

I agree with Chrissy. The dark blue with a purple sheen is very very attractive. I thought I knew what it was until I wrote with a pen that was already filled with my initial guess, and now I'm in the dark again.

I got mine, but am having trouble finding time with so many late evening meetings.
I am planning to put it in my Pilot 912 with an FA nib and take it for a test drive at work tomorrow.

I didn't post my 1st guess, but Scooby has it. I now believe it was wrong though.

It's in the pen... first impressions... it definitely a "sheen queen"... nice shade of blue too.

Sorry to confuse and disappoint. The "Thanks" was for posting the pic / writing sample and not for the ink guess. It is not PRDCSSB, though I do own that ink. I will wait for the remainder of participants to write and post their impressions before revealing the ink's true identity.

A comment I was going to make yesterday...

This ink appears much brighter and less saturated in Chrissy's writing samples than what I usually get from this ink. My writing is closer to what Fred has posted. I don't know if it's lighting or volume of ink on the page. I do tend to write with a heavier had so I get more ink flow. Not sure about Fred. I do also tend to use this ink in a cursive italic nib so it's putting down more ink than any of my round nibs. I guess this means I'm inking up a pair of pens when I get home and comparing CI to EF.

Has MI14 been on your shelf for a while, or is it a recent buy?

My first impression is I really like this ink. I hope it's not organic.

    Still cogitating....

Not surprising. The New York City Regional Postal Distribution Center has been suffering a serious re-infestation of the notorious inkbeetle, which will chew through just about anything once they catch the scent.
