    Default Mystery Ink #14

    The Revival!

Mystery Ink's are fun. I'm going to do another one. I need 6-8 volunteers to receive a random sample of ink, evaluate it, review it, and post your thoughts and guesses as to what it might be. Post here if you want to join in the fun. If I get a lot volunteers we'll draw names out of a hat to pick winners. International crowd is welcome to participate. I think I shipped to Canada, Australia, and Japan for MI #13. Don't fret if you want to participate and miss out. I'm planning Mystery Ink #15 too!

For his generosity in providing me with some sample vials to facilitate this round of Mystery Ink FredRydr is automatically on the list.

For those unfamiliar with the Mystery Ink threads and why we're at #14, here are past inks and threads.

If you are prepared to post a vial to the UK, then I would like to volunteer.

Also, I can participate from Istanbul if posting the vial is feasible overseas.

Not a problem. International shipping doesn't bother / scare me.

Can I mail it to the new house? I know it's not done yet, but I feel like the first package delivered needs to be pen-related . See if they'll put up a temporary mailbox!

I'm happy to see this revived; MI is so much fun. Can I play, too?
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

And my latest ebook, for spooky wintery reading:

We set up mail forwarding... But our new address will be our old address... So you can send to any of our addresses and it will come to the same house... All the addresses is mine! Mwa ha ha haaaa! I ownz all da houziz!

So... Erm... Yeah, we'll just have to keep going and make sure one of them coincides with the house move

Well, no one else seems interested. I guess we'll run MI #14 with the current 5 volunteers (well...4 + 1 auto entrant). I will be sending each of you a private message to request a shipping address. Then I'll try to ship these out in intervals so everyone gets them within a couple days of each other.

I'm waiting on one more address and then we're ready to start mailing.

In happy gifty news, I bought new inks for all of you (well, new to me...maybe not new to you). The Mystery Ink revival will extend through MI #20 (at least).

Do you know how long it takes to remove all of the sand from the ink samples I've gathered?!

That would need a very large coffee filter paper.

After a short weather delay (incoming items) the first few Mystery Inks have been mailed to our international volunteers. Local / CONUS samples will mail out next week. I want to give the international package a head start in hopes that all are received within a week of each other.
