New member but have followed your site for a while. Really enjoy all the FP talk. I’m a newbie with five years experience using FP’s and two years working to improve my chicken scratch. Maybe now I just scratch better. 🤠

Thanks all. When I first started, I just wanted to stop writing with pressure or tension which is how I found fountain pens. Then I really started to enjoy using them but still wrote horribly. After watching videos online I wrote ten pages per letter of the alphabet. After that exercise, I just started to enjoy the act of hand writing anything and everything. Earlier in my career, someone from leadership sent me a thank you note on custom card stock with a vibrant blue ink and beautiful penmanship. I don’t remember much from his card except the great impression it made on me and how I thought it would be great to learn to do something similar.
