I deny all rumours that I have shares in all the major ink manufacturing companies........ 😉😉

Quasar and Vortex Motion are quite unique, in my view.
Sydney Harbour Blue looks very similar to KWZ Baltic Memories. Isn’t it?

You've got a good eye for colour Yes, KWZ Baltic Memories is a very similar colour to Blackstone SHB.

Here is a scan of them both (on Tomoegawa paper), alongside a few of the others I have in the same colour family. Plus two inks that I think of as 'truer' blues for comparison (the Bungbox and Levenger) and OS Walden Pond Blue, which I don't think of as blue, and in my experience is almost unusable because of the excessive sheen. This scan doesn't show the inks that sheen, my favourites being the Maruzen Athena, Bungbox and KWZ.

    Thank you Migo.
    I appreciate the published comparison.
    It is very informative.
Only regret that those Sailor exclusives are difficult to come by in Europe.

Siri, take a note: book a flight to Japan and I will come back with a trunk full of goodies!

Thanks, Cob. I made a New Year’s Resolution to stop, or at least slow down, with buying inks........... I held out for about 3 days!

    Pleased the compaarison was helpful

I’ve spent far too much over the years on buying inks from Japan, but I don’t regret it in any way. I’d rather have 1 pen and 10 bottles of ink than 10 pens and 1 bottle. Guess I’m a bit ‘ink crazy’! Lol

If you’re interested in trying some specific inks I’m happy to ship some samples to you from here in the U.K. Just send me a PM.
