I’m looking to purchase a Kaweco Art Sport Amber/Brown

I can't help you, I'm afraid: I'm still looking for the amecitrin and rosit to finish my collection. I found the amber after a long, long time searching ebay; it's worth having an email sub for relevant searches. They do crop up from time to time.

By the way, the amber really is worth the wait; it's a gorgeous colour with loads of depth.

Have either of you considered asking Kaweco to see if they might have one available? You might be pleasantly surprised. It's a 50/50 chance of yes or no.

They are still out there. Mine came from a department store (Dymocks) in Sydney, Australia, about 2 years ago. They were selling them off and I paid 50% off list price! I spread the word and another FP Geek was also able to get one at the same time for the same price, shipped to the US.

I’m sure there must still be some more lurking around in stock cupboards and on dusty shelves in shops somewhere or other..........

I asked a Director of Kaweco about availability of the Amber Art Sport a while back. At the time she was unable to assist. They might know about the more readily available Art Sport colours, like Rosit.

I can't help you either. However, if you're looking for such pen only because of the material, you meight consider getting a pen turned by a custom pen maker of this pen material:

It's basically the same material but can be used for any pen design. Good luck!

I managed to get a couple of mine at a good reduction in a closeout sale, too. Just two left to go :-)

Mind you, the real hen's teeth in the Kaweco Art Sport brood are the first generation: Samba, Tango, Blues and Mambo.
