Gotta love how supermarkets use this term for cheese.
Really? Limited Edition cheese? Whatever next.

Apparently the link to the Elixir inks has now been taken down from the Montblanc web-site. Perhaps someone was premature in adding it on?

You can have my bottle of Joyful-2 Hotaka Olive if you’d like it? I’d be very pleased to send it to you. It’s only missing a couple of fills 😊
Oh, yes. I'll PM you about it.

I have been observing the Montblanc ink offerings and the prices, and have changed to Pelikan 4001 inks. I am using up what I have of MB.

I have left off of using the Pilot and Sailor inks, because of Binder writings that they are acidic and detrimental to pens. One of these days I'll get some pH paper and test what I have. I don't write much any more, so I don't need the ink I have. I just collect pens.

It does seem greedy to me to charge so much for stuff that cost twenty-five cents a bottle in the sixties. I wonder if that difference is all inflation.

I'll bet you these colors Chrissy can find. Anything North of $50 canadian I think about. Don't forget the bottle. In fact I think it's all about the bottle. Also the marketing I think is geared toward female writers.

I suspect more of the cost is about the bottle and it's packaging, than the actual ink inside. That's probably always the case with inks and glass bottles.

I have an inkling (pardon the pun ) about which ink maker makes Montblanc inks, and suspect reproduction of the colours wouldn't be impossible.
