FS: Pelikan Souveran M400 Fountain Pen

First of all, I am a new member here to this forum. I am active on the Canadian Watch Collector forum under the same username “Nathan_Barnes”. I have many, many positive reviews on that forum. For sale is a beautiful Pelikan Souveran M400 fountain pen.

I have only used this pen a couple of times and it should go to an owner who will use it. It has been inked and ink has been removed each of the couple times I have used it; so, it rests without ink in the barrel. The ink used in the pen has been Montblanc royal blue.

This pen boasts a 14 carat/585 gold medium nib. The pen is in 98% condition (due to being inked a couple times) and is LNIB. Nib is structurally pristine. Please note that this pen requires an ink well to fill and cannot take refill cartridges (the pen pulls up the ink by twisting the nob at the top of the pen). It is truly a luxurious writing instrument.

This pen is currently selling at a retailer in Toronto for $695 CDN plus sales tax.
