    Default Nib Interchangability

Other than Al-Star, Safari and Vista, do those nibs fit any other Lamy pens?

The Accent seems a bit of an oddball. I think I might try the Studio.

Thanks Bogon07! Any idea where I could find all of these nibs in one place?

Ooh, I've never seen the nibs at Lamy USA. Do you have a link?

I've always gotten them from retailers like Goulet or isellpens. I think The Writing Desk has some of the more unusual nibs, and maybe Cultpens does, too. Does anyone know where to get the gold limited edition Studio nib? I have a friend who wants to try it without buying the Studio.

I fond most all of them on eBay. Except for the obliques. I have only seen the gold nib on the Lamy site.

I think it would be funny to see a Safari with a gold nib!

    Hello,

in Germany you cant buy those gold nibs from stores/resellers, you have to send the pen directly to the Lamy Service and they will assemble those gold nibs on your pen.

    Greetings

You can buy the Studio and one or two others in the range, fitted with the 14k nib - but the price immediately goes up to something comparable with the Lamy 2000. I agree with Jorg that I have never seen the gold nibs sold separately apart from the Lamy USA site where they are $85 each. .

At Lamy USA when you buy the nib you are also buying the section. At Goulet you are getting the nib alone. I had to do it once on my Al Star as the threads on the section had broken in the barrel. (was able to unscrew them and just install- pretty slick) And the steel nibs are easy squeezy to install.

These nibs also fit the Lamy Nexx and Nexx M.

That explains the higher cost when purchasing from Lamy.
