    Default What did I buy?

So I found a Pelikan, by accident, in a second hand shop. Not at all expensive, but I thought it would be easy to track down the model and make... It has been harder than I thought, so I thought I'd come here for help and advice.

It is an M200 sized burgundy pen.
It has a grey ink window (Sorry, too eager, I inked before taking pics).
The cap says W-Germany / Pelikan.
It is a piston filler (that was completely suck and needed greasing!)
    Old style nib.

    However...
It has no pelican on the top of the cap.
The feed looks like a new style.
It has a single cap band.

I think it might be a modern recreation of the old M150?

    Any thoughts welcome.

Could it be a M481 old style burgundy?

That was what I thought it might be, buying in Japan would fit the export only model.
All the images I originally checked on the Pelikan' s Perch matched too.
But the price I paid would be very cheap for that model, and that is what made me question it. Especially with the "W-Germany" on the cap. I think I might have done very well with this purchase.

Thanks for the thoughts and fast response.

All other comments welcome, don't be shy.

Cool Re: What did I buy?

I concur with the assessment so far - can you unscrew the cap end off the clip?

    Nice pen, by the way.

Also, thank you, all I saw was a really pretty bird sitting behind some glass for what looked like a really nice price.

Seems fairly conclusive then, don't it?

And underneath the top of the 'black bit' is some bird with chick(s)?
