Cap's a little fragile, already introduced a third chip off the lip just gently going at the inside with several q-tips due to all the ink.

Then there's of course this oh but oh well, long as I don't push it, it should stay as is.

A frankenpen. Michael McNeil was selling it on Pentrace. It is a Wahl-Eversharp in Brazilian Green. Michael says it is a streamline Equi-Poised barrel with a flat top, roller ball soldier clip. It has a Gold Seal flexi nib. The color and pattern of the body and cap match perfectly and the parts look like they belong together.

The other acquisition the day before the Doric.

A 1943 Parker Vacumatic in Emerald.

Close up showing it's transparency, next to my slimmer 1937 gold-pearled vacumatic.

    Two WHITE Lamy joys.
I waited too long, and the US dealers are long sold out. I had to order it from the Writing Desk in England.

My wife purchased me this Visconti Van Gogh, Room in Arles as a congratulatory gift on a fantastic new job. I've wanted this pen for some time. So far I LOVE it! It is the most valuable pen I now have. I'm feeling quite the lucky guy right now!

A really very nice Swan L206/60 from 1939.

This one came fitted with a most curious Phillips Oxford nib:

    1.jpg

I do not like the nib although I am sure it might appeal to others. I have a 1950s Swan 2 H nib that was actually a gift from a very generous fellow geek. It was rather crumpled, but I was able to restore it to its former glory and fit it to the Swan; it is lovely to write with

My Wing Sung 590 fountain pen arrived this morning.

Whilst I am sure most would concede that it is not of top-drawer quality, I have to say for the paltry sum I paid, it is great value.

It worked perfectly straight out of the box, and really writes very nicely. I like the look of it very much and it holds an amazing amount of ink.

My most recent acquisitions are two Sciptorium pens.
A Master Scrivener in Conway Stewart Dartmoor Acrylic with a medium nib

And an Idyll in Illuminated Amber/Urushu red with a Pendleton Brown medium CI/stub

Absolutely wonderful pens. So very different because of the two nib types.

Lamy 2000. Medium nib. I've already taken it apart and rubbed silicone on the piston head and inside the barrel. This is a great pen for the price.

Edison Herald and a beautiful Leigh Reyes piece of art. She calls it a "doodle" and I call it stunning. This is my first Edison pen and the EF is spot on butter smooth. Woot woot happy day after it languished in U.S. customs for 2+weeks. They just like to make me wait!

I got this little MB 142 some time ago.

Itīs an early version with the ski-slope feed (beginning of the fifties).

The nib is smooth, and rather flexible, itīs s small pen but usable (even with my not so small hands), lying next to an early sixties 149, shows itīs size.
