Luckily whoever stepped on it must not have weighed much. The pen appeared to have no damage done to it and it was writing beautifully. Whew... thats nerve wracking to open.

Shawn Newton ships his pens in a coffee thermos like you use in the car .... take a look at what the post office did to it... The pen ,,. was just fine.

    Crazy
Wow it's a good thing it was in the cup. How do you like the pen? I have had my eye on one of his Shinobis.
    LOVE IT !!!

Did a review a little while back

    Two modern parkers.

I got the red centennial one a few days ago, and the greenwich edition the day after, i found both in some local adds.

The last pic shows them next to "the real Thing" a duofold senior from the twenties (i think).

I specially like the greenwich edition, the chasing gives a good grip, and also looks very good (in my eyes) but they are both well made, well balanced and nice to write with.

The red has a "Q" date code, and the black one has "IIIN" date code.

Pelikan 400 in black stripe! Just one more to go (the green stripe model) to complete my college "user collection", which will put an end to pen-buying until I'm a senior.

At the LA Pen Show today: early faceted Vanishing Point with custom italic nib from Carmen Rivera, and a lovely Filcao from Giovanni Abrate. Pics when I get home at the top of the week. I'm worried I'll find more stuff tomorrow. Pray for me.
