Sheaffer Legacy 1 medium nib.
Photo one day....
Two from Murfie, often found on this forum, after the last pen molesters gathering in London.
A Waterman W3 in striated blue-grey (thinks to self: in view of that other thread, don't I have a pair of boxer shorts like that? No, best not to explore that avenue too closely) and a Waterman 503 in a burgundy/rose. Both fine/medium nibs. Photos soon.
I do like these vintage Waterman nibs- I have a W5 and a 513 and they all have soft nibs that without being full flex, never leave the paper. I think I'll enjoy these. T

I got a (used) new pet. So far I'm really enjoying it. But, I'll admit that even though what I paid was quite a lot less than the new price, this is the first pen I've owned which I refused to let someone else handle. I've always liked letting others use the pens. Not this one.
It is currently inked with Noodler's Black: the only ink I keep at work. It has great line variation, comfortable feedback on the page, and an extremely generous ink flow. I want to try it with a shading ink next.
What is really making it nice is that unique material. It feels much nicer than the plastics that most of my pens are made of. I had heard this, but put it down to hyperbole. Turns out it's true.
Also, because it is used, there is already some tarnishing of the brass fittings. You can't really tell in my cheap iPad photos, but it's there. I could use the polishing cloth enclosed: apparently I got most of what comes with the pen new. But, I like the tarnished look.
The capping mechanism is unique, but nothing special.

Hi Stoat
It's a Giorgio Fedon Magma (almost certainly made by Visconti for the Fedon brand).
Think of it as a Visconti Opera.
If I'm lucky I'll be able to make the March meet and will bring all my new toys with me.

Lady Onogaro (February 19th, 2016)
A new Waterman Lady Elsa is on its way! I already have the grey, this one is a striking green and brown marbled one.
I really love these Waterman Lady pens - made in such striking materials. Photo when I get it!
I almost drained it yesterday (did drain it today, but I was at work, so it got refilled with Noodler's Black again). It has some flex to it, it feels good, it's nicely weighted, and it just looks cool.
I'll film my review in a few weeks when the newness wears off. I almost filmed a "This just arrived" video last night. Luckily, without sunlight, my videos don't look good, so I didn't do it.
I still think my Lamy 2000 will be my EDC pen. It's fun carrying this Visconti around, but I prefer a pen that is more under the radar. But, I do think the Visconti may get classified with my Pilot 823 as my writing pen for at home. But, I may put a more "fun" ink into it and leave the 823 for black ink. I'll decide over the next few weeks.
That itch is scratched, and it cured my interest in the other Viscontis I wanted. But, it makes me even more curious about the Nakaya and the Pelikan I keep thinking about. Maybe this will have to be a year where I don't buy any pens.
I said the same after buying this last year. Didn't last very long.

I'll look forward to the review.

I pulled the trigger on an XF Pilot VP in bright green tonight with matte black trim. It should arrive this week and I'm super excited since it's my first VP.
My fourth Franklin-Christoph. A Pocket 40 in Ice and Smoke with a Masuyama medium stub nib. Next one will be a FC Model 02...I think

Pelikan Souverän M600 with 18c M nib. I have been wanting one of these for awhile now and it is not a disappointment. This has to be one of the smoothest nibs I have ever written with.
I do not suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Here's the Waterman 503 from Murfie, still with its original sticker!

Apologies for the rather rough-and-ready photographs. I'll find the time to take better ones .....honest.
I now have four of these vintage Watermans - a W5 and 513 as well as these two, and they are brilliant writers.
