Let's see the nib on it, Mr. Silverbreeze! Oh, and the Da Vinci notebook is very cool looking! Good picture.

I just picked up the Platinum 3776 black with silver trim in a medium. Very nice writer but a little shorter unposted than I expected.

Hey everyone, I just started out with a Pelikan M400. Very smooth, very finely made. Running Pilot ink.

Courtesy our own member Cryptos, I now have - all the way from New Zealand - a very nice Moore in a style I did not previously have. These were quick photos to document the arrival, but it is a gem of a pen, and I'm very pleased. Thanks, Cryptos!

Glad you like it, Jon. If there are any issues please let me know, but I think most people rate Danny Fudge as great restorer. Wait until you get some indirect sunlight on it. The pattern is surprisingly complex.

Allthough i donīt go much for modern pens, i found this nice MB 149 with a BB nib, i still prefer the BB nib on my early sixties 149, but this newer MB pen has some more weight to it which i like.

I just got back from a trip, and by coincidence I (1) had sent off several pens for repair before going and (2) bought a couple on eBay. So I got home to find seven pens waiting in the mail. It was fun!

First a couple of Parker Duofolds, vest pocket size, with very different nibs. (The nibs have numbers on them: 046136 snf 055040; does anyone know what they mean?

    Duofolds1.jpg

Next a Duofold Junior to match them. The green is discolored as usual. The Duofolds were all restored by Sean Nicholson of Write on Time.

    2015-07-15 15.42.09.jpg

An Esterbrook (my first) restored by Brian Anderson. Now I have to learn more about these guys and their various nibs.

    esterbrook.jpg

Next a Skyline (one more!) restored by Syd Saperstein. The sticker says Fine-Flex, but it's more like semi-flex in my hands.

    Skyline.jpg

And the two from eBay: an Omas Extra 620 and an Onoto The Pen. My wife loved the Onoto. I haven't made up my mind on the Omas, which is nice but has a couple of issues.

    onoto.jpg

So many pens all at once... It's fun, but also a bit overwhelming!

    A very smart Swan Calligraph.

    16_7_15.jpg

It was in terrible order - have a look at the disgusting object left of the pen in the picture. That is the remains of the pressure bar, encrusted with a thick layer of concrete-hard black ink. The nib feed and section were the same and the barrel needed an hour in the ultra-sonic cleaner.

I have another Calligraph and like this one it is apt to write a little on the dry side. I hope to attend to this aspect soon.

Another recent arrival: the tiny English Golden Cockerel pen. I would describe the nib (Warranted 1st quality) as a size 000!

Here is my other pen. Thank you "Zhivago" (Forum Member and seller)

After a few hours of google and reading I concluded (I am probably wrong as even "Zhivago" could not verify either)
    That I now own a:

Sheaffer Triumph Statesman II in Carmine.

Dated Between (1945 - 1947) With a Triumph Lifetime Nib and Vac-Fill / Plunger Filling System.
