My lab pen quest is complete! Here's Mr. Torelli's scan of the "51" flighter I had him customize with a stainless steel hood, connector, and cap jewel--it should be pretty much bomb-proof!

Picked up this little cutie from Myk Daigle last week. Besides being a nice pen, it is going to serve as the template for a (future) custom pen in larger size. Moore Ringtop in RHR:

A Platinum 3776 Century Bourgogne with B nib. It arrived on December 1. I ordered it on November 13 from a Japanese seller on Amazon. I currently have it loaded with Blackstone Red Cashmere.
I took near some large windows (north facing) but it was a cloudy day so the light wasn't as good as I would have hoped for. The Bourgogne color really pops much more than what these photos show.

I've been interested in Aurora after trying out an Aurora Style Gemstone pen. Sadly, most of the pens are outside my price range. Then I found this vintage Aurora 88 which is in my price range. I'm looking forward to its arrival later this week.

My Dad gave his old fountain pen. A Sheaffer Targa! I really enjoy writing with it and its the first gold nib I've ever written with. Very excited to have this.

An old danish MB 244 piston filler from the fifties, with a flexible EF nib, and an old MB pix 72g pencil, which i really donīt know much about, but it feels like a wel-built pencil, and itīs in perfect working order (maybe from the forties?).

I found this at a fleamarket, itīs in good shape and just needed a new sac, the nib is very flexible and marked "wahl 2" and is 18k.
There is a mark below the cap ring ( it can be seen on the second pic), which i canīt figure what means, there is a similar mark on the nib

Thank you very much Pelikan-Vera, have you any idea what the mark means?.
Beautiful pen, farmdogfan. I wonder if you can get a picture of the nib?

Yeah the F nib I got on mine took a bit of breaking in. It was scratchy and unusable as well. This was also the case with my amethyst but I just had to soldier through the first pages of use and seems to be fine now . The amethyst is one of my favorite steel writers.

That mark on the Wahl celluloid is really odd. It's as if someone had tried to hallmark the rings, and missed.
