Then, despite that I've lived in the same building for 15 years, recently they randomly decided that I need to pick up my parcels from a different post office and then switched thing back again. Not to mention the number of times my packages were sent to the neighbouring building...

These days, all my pens are sent to my office.

Latest acquisition - my Pelikan M320 in ruby red arrived today. It's tiny, cute and flawless. I'll take some picture on weekends and perhaps post a 'shootout' between that and my other mini fountain pens.
At least your postie leaves a note. Recently mine hasn't. I only receive the second reminder from the Post Office telling me I have 5 days to collect before it goes back to the sender. Now when I have packages en route I just go via the Post Office and check.
    Been there done that....

Usually our post is very good about letting us know, and the only time I have to go to the post office is when a signature or $$$ required.

I have everything shipped to my workplace because I don't trust my local carrier. I was sitting one morning, drinking some coffee and I saw the postlady stop at my box and left the mail. I walked out and it was a notice to pickup the package at the post office because my dog would not allow her to enter the property to leave the package. I did not even own a dog at the time. UPS tends to throw packages over the fence in an area I will not notice, and it could sit a while. FedEx just makes up stuff to leave the package in the truck over the weekend.

Just arrived today, a Montblanc 142 Green striated. This is a very beautiful pen and I consider myself lucky to have found one.

If I'm not mistaken, the M101N Lizard is closer to the M400 size. Pelikan website says it's 12.3 cm capped, 14.7 grams.
The M320 on the other hand is 11 cm capped, 11 grams. So it's noticeably smaller and lighter. When I take pictures of it this weekend, I'll put it next to an Aussie coin/note to show size, just for you.

And you always manage to get beautiful and discontinued Viscontis. Make sure you show it off once it arrives.

Beautiful Montblanc, orfew! I've always liked those but when it came to buying a new pen it always was something else - so it's still looking at pictures for me.

The latest additions to my collection from the past month or so.
I apologise for the miserable photo quality, but I had guests last night, so all of my photo gear had to be removed from the dining table and put away for the night, and I had to use my pocket camera for this.

    Attachment 6389

    Top to bottom:
    Parker 45 Student
Unknown brand with a P on top of the clip.
    Parker 51
Arabic pen - I can't remember the name, but someone in here was kind enough to translate the text on the nib of a similar but blue pen that I have.
    No-name chinese pen
    Senator

    Attachment 6390

    From the top:
    Parker Vector
    Parker 51
    Sheaffer
"Original Luxor Teleskop" (text on cap)
    Tip Top

    Attachment 6391

Dip pen, made of brass and stone which I think is agate, but I'm not sure.

I got the first batch for 250 DKK, that's 46 USD, and the second batch plus dip pen for 300 DKK, that's 55 USD.

The Parker 51 vacumatic arrived today from Peyton Street Pens. No question the fastest shipping I've had from any vendor each time I buy from Terry. The pen is lovely. No surprises, we all know what to expect with a 51 and this one did not disappoint. I was especially happy to get it as a vacumatic. The barrel is dark blue, gold cap. Noodler's Coloure Royale is a perfect match.

I've already posted the photos on the what pens are you waiting for thread. This is just to confirm that I now have both in hand and they exceed expectations, which were pretty high to begin with.
