I met up with my pen restorer at the Pelikan Hub so hopefully, he can find parts for it. He also sold me this cute little Todco T_-100 eye dropper. I’ve never owned a BCHR pen before- is a velvet lined wooden drawer next to my pencil erasers a good storage spot?

I, myself, am trying to decipher it.
No markings, decent quality, complete HR construction, came out of Italy.

It seems that a few of us have done the same. It is impractical to collect all the colours, but I did end up with 5 after a I found an incredibly cheap source on eBay.

I picked up an x159 on a whim a month or so back. Certainly an acceptable pen for the money - I needed to do just a bit of adjustment on the nib but after that it writes well, if unexceptionable. I really wish a true M width would be available, but I could see buying a few, taking care of any nib issues, and passing them on to new users. It is probably also worth taking on outings I don't want to chance fates with more valuable pens.

Within about a 2 week period I had 2 pens arrive, both fairly impulsive: a new Leonardo, an MZG 2.0 they call the Masterpiece in a woodgrain ebonite and their new nib. Almost as if I designed a pen for myself, so nice. And then an MB 146 popped up for sale here and I could not resist, partly on a couple of friend's guidance. AFter nearly 15 years in the pen game, my first MB.

I've been binging this year Montblanc 149 & 146, Nakaya 17mm Long Cigar, Sailor Ebonite Sculpture, and a Namiki Emperor. The only pen original to my small collection is a Pilot Custom 823.

The body and cap are pewter, and hand tooled with a bamboo pattern. The "B" nib has a gigantic round blob of tipping, and I think I'm going to get a creative grind done on it. An unusual enough pen that I likely won't use as an EDC, but it feels good in-hand and writes smoothly.

I have one of those. A nice pen. I wish Sheaffer would remember it's roots.

Oh, that barn door was opened, all of the livestock ran away, the farm has been sold and condos now sit where the barn once was. Cheap condos.

    Pretty pen!

I swore off pens and inks, so naturally I just got a TWSBI Go, F nib, because the weird filler was intriguing. It's made of clear plastic reminiscent of Lock & Lock food storage containers and it's a gusher. Or Monteverde Malibu Blue is a firehose ink. Or both.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

As much as I would like to say that I am trying to appreciate what I already have in my collection, the Black Friday sale at Ali Express reeled me in. I bought an Asvine Skeleton because I have been looking at it for over a year and the price dropped, and then I saw more penguin pens and I had to have them. I have never been attracted to retractable pens but now there’s a penguin on one, so here we are. These are listing pictures but look how cute!
