A Karakustom g2 pen....it came without a refill. So I put a FaberCastell med rollerball in to it. It seems to fit fine. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1419531852.676628.jpg

I found the Karas pens are very flexible about refills

I suppose that is good Silverbreeze. Easy to find refills. It was disappointing the pen came without a refill for the price they are sold for.

Yeah I agree but my ink and render are surviving caseless as pocket pens
That has value to me much higher then buying my own refill :-)

So Basically here's my christmas collection, I got a new camera so I wanted to test it out and what better way than taking bad pictures of pens. I got a Montblanc 146 EF that was never used until I got a hold of it, a NOS Reform 1745 which has quickly taken the place of one of my favorite pens, and the last is an Onoto 5xxx with what I think is a stub nib. All write very nicely even though the stub doesn't work for what I tend to write most. Lastly I got a Franklin Christoph 3 pen carrying case which is very nice. The only thing I don't like about the case is that it rubs on the top of some pens but thats more the pen not the case. I think you can find a pen long enough to rub on any case if you wanted to.

The possibilities for refills seem limitless, if you're willing to tinker. I've put Zebra Sarasa gels and Uni Jetstream ballpoints in mine.

I got this Wearever for Christmas. Cleaned it up and put a new sac in it. The gold plating is nearly gone, but I like the iridescent green stripes, that of course look better in person and get lost on my phone.

Crazyorange, I've got the Starry - and what a lovely pen it is, though the cap is a little cranky at screwing on. It's a sort of pinstripe on drugs is the only way I can describe, or perhaps a Vacumatic that's smoked too much hash.

I paid more for this than I usually do... but it was such an unusual pen that I had to snap it up, and I'm glad I did. Probably the most unusual pen I've seen all year!

Gosh! What a beauty. This is the first Starry that I have come across that is not a safety pen. Is the nib gold? And how does it write?

A friend gifted me her father's Parker Duofold Lucky Curve from the early 30's. I just received it back from being reconditioned by Dan Smith. All is good!
