Agreed. And by the same token, pictures without captions or identifiers are annoying to some of us.

It's more than luck. I'd been looking, and someone found just what I've been hunting!

It's a Mabie Todd Swan SF230, and it's a lovely writer. It came well-packed from Scotland, thanks to Goodwriters Pens. That long lever provides more than enough pressure on the sac.

Aw, Fred, that's amazing! And it isn't just the lever that is long, that looks like a really lengthy pen. So glad you got it from some of the best people in the business/hobby!

I'm not gonna tell you what to do necessarily; but if you write me a letter with that pen, I certainly won't be mad

From this angle that nib almost looks like a stub. How does she perform?

    It’s a fine semi-flex, lovely and smooth.

This suave example showed up today - a Canadian Duofold in lapis, all the way from Paris. I can only share a couple of the seller's photos, but the pen presents just as well in person. Very happy to finally have a good representative lapis lazuli in the house.

Beautiful pen, Jon. I have one similar but with the wrong clip. I didn't notice when I bought it because it resembles a Duofold clip so closely. It's only when I happened to notice that the writing on the clip reads "Raja"... Raja is a rarity now but made pens that looked as like Duofolds as possible. I'm not going to change the clip. I like that it now resides on an actual Duofold.

Wow, Jon- that lapis is gorgeous! Duofold pens in general turn my head, but that color! 💙💙💙

I just received a new Laban 325, Fire red with faux ivory cap and barrel tip. I really like the color combination. Steel medium nib although it writes more like a fine. I had the same thing happen with a Tibaldi N60 a few months ago. May they are using Japanese mib? The pen wrote terrific out of the box. The nib needed no tweaking, and it has moderate feedback. I''ve looked for this color combination for a long time. My only concern, although a small one, is if the faux ivory section will stain much with use. Overall I'm quite pleased the the pen.

Thank you. I have a Moderne Duo Jr in jade that is in good shape and that is likely enough for me. I don't dive real deep into Parker but my small collection did want to have a good lapis example. That's a nice pen, though, certainly.

I found yet another blue Sheaffer Fashion, this one comes with the tapestry pen holder and is clipless. I also found a blue Parker Super 21. I love the wet medium nibs on the Fashions, and am excited to see the difference between the 21 and both the regular and Special 51s for myself. No pictures because they are in transit still.

I just got home from a visit to one of my local stationery stores, and found this ridiculously lovely Cross Wanderlust Malta. I went in with a hankering for a blue pen, and while this does have blue elements, the design just blew me away and I had to have it.
