No photographs of it as of yet. I am not even sure if this qualifies. However, after a 2-year hunt, I finally acquired the Marine Green cap I have needed for one of my Sheaffer Balance OS which, until now, had a black and pearl cap.

Has arrived earlier today, two 2018 BPS pens, one 2017 Susan Wirth Memorial pin, and the 1960s MontBlanc 14 with an 18C EF/F. Just trying to decide what I want to ink it with first.

Hoping to find a 2016 BPS pin that I missed out on, or some of the years before I got into fountain pens.

Eversharp Skyline pen and pencil arrived tonight, thus ending a quest of many months.

I wasn't sure what to expect but the pen seems to tick all the boxes for me: girth, length, balance, weight. I had to tune the nib a little. Let's see how it works as I take notes tomorrow.

If you're lucky enough to purchase a oblique from Brian Smith then you get a nicely written note too!

classic. Very nice indeed. And a lovely part of the world that both you and it hail from. Or should that be: from which both you and it hail? in order to avoid the dangling whatever.

That little beauty looks pristine. I have one very similar to that with the partially hooded nib. It is designated a #32.

That was in reference to KBeezie's Mont Blanc #14.

32 will have a smaller No.2 nib on it, and a thinner body, blue ink window, threaded cap, other than that pretty similar.

HaHa, quite right. I should have looked at my 32 before replying. Now that I do so, it is, in fact, not that similar at all.
    Cheers.

Yet another Permapoint, this time brown lizard pattern. Also, a old Parker Lucky Curve in need of a replacement barrel and button bar.

Not my picture but the pen arrived last Friday. The UPS driver's LAST delivery of the night just before 8 PM.

1990 Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 with an f-m slightly flexy nib which also makes a wonderful ef line in reverse writing.

Conklin Crescent Filler with a flex nib, along with a Pre-owned Platinum Century 3776 Black Diamond with a Cursive Italic grind on the Broad nib coming from nibs.com

I probably won't see both until next week, so it will be eager anticipation.

In case anyone was on tenterhooks awaiting an update, the cheap replacement barrel I found for the Lucky Curve fits like a glove and the pen turns out to be a really nice writer. Very smooth but also very controllable. A button bar on the way from UK (pendragons).

The Conklin Crescent Filler is still in "pre-shipment" (USPS Priority, label printed last week).

But the pre-owned, near-mint, Platinum Century 3776 "Black Diamond" arrived today with the Cursive Italic grind done to a new 14K Broad nib by nibs.com tuned to "light to medium" pressure and "medium flow".

Haven't inked it yet, thinking maybe syo-ro since that might give a slight pink sheen that I notice on syo-ro when it's wet enough.

A job lot of pens - the Swan snakeskin cost me £40, the Unique in cracked pearl £10, and the rest £40 in a bundle. One day's haul from antique shops. Now cleaning them up and re-sacking.

The little red mottled ebonite pencil works, has lead in it, and appears to be a Mentmore if I remember correctly - the clip has an M in a lozenge.

Incidentally, the pen came from Signatures, a pen shop ( yes, a real one) in York. They have a decent stock of new pens and a few vintage pens, mostly Parkers which are well priced. I thought that £58 for this 180 was pretty good. If you're anywhere near York, do go.
Signatures is now closed, very sad but high York rents and business rates have forced closure.
