Here are my two latest pens:
A DuPont Renaissance Phoenix who’s black lacquer has Gibson meteor dust sprinkled in it.
The next is the modern Duofold big red. I found it on sale on Amazon and regretted selling my Rockwell!

Just gave in and ordered a Sterling barrel Sheaffer Targa (slim model) with a 14k oblique nib and ten dried up slim carts.
I can't wait for this one to arrive!

"Iolanthe" from Garcia-Deschacht.
If you visit Garcia-Deschacht.com, go to Videos/Links, you can see a video of the pen being made.
It has been a truly excellent experience having discussions about the pen, chosing a name, from which the makers found inspiration for the decoration.
The pen should be with me next week.
Pelikan Souverän M1000 with a medium nib:

Exhausted from a lot of driving and a long weekend at the LA Pen Show, so the real pics of the two pens will wait til I can do them. *However*, I had a wonderful moment at the show: my dear friend Marta T-Q and I with Sarj Minhas, both of us purchasing newly released "Sarj 'One-Man Pen Show' Minhas" pens! Beautiful new piston-fillers by Leonardo, with Sarj's iconic image in three places on the pen. Full photos will come later, but this is a great memory item to keep and use and I had to share.

Here is my Aiken Lambert that appears in Jim Marshall's book Collecting Old Writing Equipment. Jim writes, "The 'secretary pen' is compact with both the pen shaft and the nib retracting into a short cylinder and many Aiken Lambert...examples are superbly decorated." I have to agree.

That's a nice tie, Jon!
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

I'm new on this forum and I think this is actually my first post.
I recently ordered a Parker 21 fountain pen from Amazon. At least I thought I did, but when I reviewed the order this morning, it was for a Frontier FP. I did a quick search online and found the Frontier had a few cases of leaking.
I cancelled the order and ordered a Jotter FP. It's on order, I should receive in in a week or so...
