What is your latest pen acquisition?

I have admired Twiss Pens for a while but there a couple of things holding me back.

There is what appears to be quite a big step down between the barrel and the cap threads, is it noticable in use.

I have bought similar pens from other makers in the past and found that the performance of the nib is quite ordinary, in one case it was poor. Is a Twiss pen all about the looks or is there some performance and personality behind the pretty face?

I have three of his pens and they are gems. Not because they look good, which they do, but because they are perfectly balanced and make writing effortless. This was my first Twiss pen
