FS: Diplomat Classic Collection (M Nib, Midnight Blue Lacquer)

For sale is a Diplomat Classic Collection fp in dark blue (or black, perhaps) with white/grey swirls lacquer. I'm not certain of the color, but it is attractive and interesting. The trim is silver-tone. I'm not sure if it is chrome or another metal. The pen has a steel M nib. It is in excellent condition with only micro/light signs of use. I think the pen dates from the 1990s. It has Diplomat's old Maltese Cross logo on the nib and finial. The band reads Classic Collection Diplomat Germany. The cap snaps on and off. It is a standard international cc filler and will come with a converter. $65 including shipping in the USA; will accept PayPal or check/money order. Thank you.

I don't know for certain and have never held an Excellence A. Looking at pictures online, I can see a similarity.

I'm interested. How smooth and how wet of a writer is it? Also can you do a writing sample?

It seems adequately smooth with just a bit of feedback. The writing sample below was taken just after inking it up now. It might make it look to be a little wetter of a nib than it actually is. In my limited use of it, I thought it a well-tuned nib.
