A 1952/3 short movie by & with Orsen Wells called "Return to Glennascaul". A good creepy movie.

@Chip, that film was made, breaking all the screenwriting rules. I didn't feel even inclined to watch the trailer....

Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Never seen it, but read the hoopla.

The special effects were cool, but the plot had more holes than a rabbit-infested lettuce patch. Really sloppy screenplay, lurching from one improbable crisis to the next.

I did notice the score quoted several bits near the end, e.g. When You Wish Upon A Star.

I cancelled my HBO Max subscription and was scouting around to see what I should watch before the last date. I chose Harold Lloyd in Safety Last, which includes his most famous scene of him dangling from the hands of a clock face high over the street.

Sure, though you have to keep the humor in context of the times, some of which wouldn't be tolerated today. The opening scene's gag is great!

A fantastic documentary (especially if you're from New York or Philadelphia and over "a certain age") called "The Automat".

The 2017 film "The Zookeeper's Wife". They used a fountain pen in one of the scenes.

Tried to watch Petite Maman on Apple TV. The time-warp plot is a bit of a stretch, but the acting is topnotch.

On our Roku box, the Apple interface was terrible. The screen kept locking up. I had to get out of it, then restart, which often took 2-3 attempts. The English subtitles appeared and vanished at random, and there was no setup to control such things.

My wife gave up early on. I stuck it out to the end.
