Vintage WATERMAN'S "IDEAL" No32 Fountain Pen 14k Red Keyhole nib- Full Flex XXF $350
This a 1930’s vintage Waterman’s 32 Ideal Black (hard rubber) fountain pen made in England. It has a US made 14k Red Keyhole nib that is a full flex and can write from XXF with a light hand and with moderate pressure to 3BBB+. The nib is the star of this pen. It writes smoothly with the right amount of ink for every line width. The pen has some honest wear on it but there are only very fine scratches and its simple black polished look makes it a handsome pen. It has a recent new sac and has been cleaned and polished. There was one small tight crack on the lip of the cap. See last photo. But this has been fused with locktite 480, a proven bonding agent for black hard rubber. I am selling it to make room for more pens.
